We finally got our wedding announcement in the Lincoln Journal-Star. Read all about it!

Today marks our 1-month anniversary, so it seems timely to finally get honeymoon pictures up!

See fun pictures like this…and more.

Part of the reason for me getting so emotional the morning of the wedding was an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my girlfriends.

Girlfriends, you’ve walked through singleness with me and you’ve thrown up excited hands with me when God brought Scott into my life.

I’m so grateful that you came to be part of Scott and my landmark day. I love each of you.

The above shot is one of my very favorite pictures from all of the ones Kristina (front left) took. Technically, my new husband took it (thanks for climbing on the counter to do so, Scott!) but he used her uber-cool camera.

Here’s Virginia & I using whatever props are around us to spontaneously karaoke to the radio after she finished my makeup. The girl was amazing: she created my bouquet, my bridesmaids’ bouquets, she did my MAC makeup and also sang! (She had to leave the reception a bit early, thus why she’s sadly not in the first picture.)

Thanks to Kristina, we have even more wedding photos to enjoy for years to come!

See other formal, fun and playful pictures she took.

Here’s the blog entry with another slide show.

Scott and I would love to see you during our wedding reception on Saturday. It’s an open house from 2-5 p.m. in the East Main conference room, at the Campus Crusade for Christ headquarters. Please let us know if you plan to attend, and how many of your family will join you.

The address is 100 Lake Hart Drive, Orlando, FL 32832. Get directions.

When you come to the gate, push the call button and you’ll be let in.

The reception is in the east building (right at the fork), on the 2nd floor. Follow signs.

Angie will be in her wedding dress. You can be less formal, if you like.

Read a first-hand report of the wedding.

Wow, thanks Chad for the touching and witty “article” — and for you who contributed to the reporter’s quotes. (How’d you do that, Chad?)

Our friend and photographer Jamy just sent us the picture below. You couldn’t pose this picture if you tried.

“Hey, I didn’t upload this photo bc someone might actually think you are smoking…Jim and I died laughing when I was editing and came across this photo! Thought you might get a kick out of it!” -Jamy

We’re home after a great, great honeymoon at Lake Tahoe. (Thanks, again, Greg and Barb!)

Many of you have asked for photos. At the bottom of this entry are a few of the photos we have, thanks to Deb taking Angie’s camera and snapping pictures throughout the weekend.

I mean, who would have guessed that last Saturday would involve snow in Lincoln…and then, a week later, our wedding day would involve sunshine and  be 71 degrees? Only in Nebraska! Thanks, Lord!
